Pergola is an old restored family house that combines the tradition felt in the historic center of Cascais with the modernity of nowadays and the desire of discovering new places.
It was created by 3 long time friends who grew up in the village and believed that sharing experiences, creating bonds and friendship are a precious and essential asset and after a few years they got together and created Pergola: a home for each and every one of us, always having the doors open and the staff available to receive anyone who wants to embark on this adventure that is discovering the world.
At a walking distance from the beach, you can smell the fresh air coming from the sea, mixed with the floral and sweet scents coming from our historic garden – one of the main attractions of our house and a must see for everyone who visits Cascais.
Being so close to the sea and surrounded by nature, we do our best to help the environment.
We source the ingredients as much as we can and work with local producers and small businesses to offer quality and sustainable options. We use plastic free amenities, our amenities are refillable and our cleaning products are eco friendly.
We believe in treating the planet right, but also our fellow humans. Our intention is to keep alive the spirit once lived in this old family house by welcoming and caring for each person as part of the family.
